At The English Nook, we believe that language teaching is not only about grammar and exercises — it is about communication, confidence, and opening doors. We work with students, professionals, and companies, helping them use English and Spanish in real-life situations such as meetings, presentations, conversations, and everyday communication.

As our programs continue to grow, we are looking for teachers who want to be part of a serious, thoughtful, and professional approach to language education.

Who We Are Looking For

We are looking for teachers who:

  • Have a strong command of English (C1–C2 or native level)
  • Have experience teaching adults or professionals
  • Are responsible, organized, and punctual
  • Are comfortable teaching online
  • Can adapt lessons to real communication needs, not only textbooks
  • Are interested in long-term collaboration
  • Experience with Business English, conversation classes, or exam preparation (IELTS, TOEFL, etc.) is a plus

Types of Classes

Our teachers may work with the following types of classes:

  • General English (A2–B2)
  • Business English
  • Conversation classes
  • Exam preparation (IELTS)
  • Corporate English classes
  • One-to-one classes
  • Small group classes

Classes are typically 60 minutes and are conducted online via Zoom or Google Meet.

Basic Requirements

  • Reliable internet connection
  • Computer with camera and microphone
  • Previous teaching experience preferred
  • Ability to issue invoices/boletas (for teachers based in Chile)
  • Availability during Chilean business hours is a plus
