Throughout February, short fiction turned toward figures that destabilize the familiar: a town that cannot retain a face, a god of love grown weary of his own function, a cosmic weaver whose threads bind unseen destinies, and a digital personality who awakens something ancient through spectacle.

Across these stories, myth does not remain distant. It migrates — into memory, into exhaustion, into craft, into algorithm. The divine appears not as transcendence, but as reflection: shaped by attention, sustained by belief, weakened by repetition.

Language in these pieces leans less on resolution and more on exposure. Identities fracture. Archetypes fatigue. Fate becomes visible. The sacred shifts from altar to audience.

Cuentos Cortos en Español — Enero

Mutación, Observación y Espejos Inquietantes

Durante febrero, la narrativa en español se desplazó hacia territorios donde lo humano se vuelve inestable. Los Hijos del Eclipse, La Seta que Miró Hacia Arriba, El Jardín de Invierno, El Zoológico Humano y La Plaga de los Dobles Incompletos exploran formas de alteración: cuerpos que cambian, naturalezas que observan, espacios que conservan lo que debería marchitarse, sociedades que exhiben lo que temen y duplicaciones que revelan ausencias invisibles.

En estos relatos, lo extraño no irrumpe con estruendo: se instala con lógica interna. Lo inquietante surge cuando lo cotidiano se inclina apenas fuera de eje. La transformación no es espectáculo, sino síntoma.
